Data: Born 1948; 1966-1971 studies at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv University (Radiophysics Faculty, Dept. of Physical Electronics); 1971 Diplom of Radio Physic and Electronic; 1972-1974 military service; 1974-until present Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University; 1974-1978 post-graduate student; 1986 C.Sc. (Phys. & Math.) [Ph.D.] in physic and chemistry of plasma. Thesis: "Physical properties of Cs plasma that interaction with neutral gas"; 1992 Docent of Physical Electronics Dept. (courses: Physical Electronics. P. I, Digital Electronics, Plasma Technologies).

Research and Development activities: Main fields of research: nonequilibrium plasma chemistry; gas discharge sources of nonequilibrium plasma; selective interaction of plasma with gas, liquid and solid; plasma technologies for environment. Current research: Secondary discharges stimulated by plasma stream. Complex plasma - bio - photochemical water treatment and destruction of high active and toxic substances. Plasma stimulation of dissolution of insoluble metals in weakly acid solution. Carbon (diamond and diamond-like) thin film deposition in secondary discharge plasma. Cooper arc in hydrogen as source of negative hydrogen ions.
